Roots Community Assistance Fund

Due to an increased demand in rental homes, and a limited supply of inventory in the Atlanta area, we are seeing rent prices soar faster and higher than ever before, over 20% in the past year alone. Thousands of families in the city are struggling to recover financially from the lingering effects of the global pandemic. Hardship due to unforeseen life emergencies, rising costs of rent, the cost of living climbing due to inflation but wages remaining the same, and temporary job loss, is forcing many hard-working families out of their homes because they can no longer afford to live there.

The Roots Rental Assistance Community Foundation, launched in 2021, strives to assist hard working renting households throughout the city of Atlanta, and prevent them from being displaced from their homes, by providing resources, support, and assistance for qualified families and individuals.
